It was a day to celebrate baby August, the new addition to Tony and Marina’s family who will be arriving this month. Two year old Amelia was adorable kissing mommy’s belly and adventuring around The Lab. It was a cool retro setting that will be perfect for the baby’s vintage nursery. My favorite image is Mom and Dad kissing against the airstream trailer and Amelia riding her tricycle. It was wonderful spending time with all of them, they are an amazing family. I’m really looking forward to meeting little August in a few weeks for his newborn portraits.
Zoom Theory Photography has joined efforts to support and donate shelter during this crucial time of need in Japan. Much Thanks to the wonderful people Lucia Dinh Pador and Henny Vallee of Utterly Engaged and Lydia Yeung of Ever Ours who created a fundraising page For Japan With Love that’s specifically geared to help with that. They have handpicked ShelterBox as the organization to donate to.
ShelterBox provide emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters at the time when they need it the most. Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.
Please join us. We know it won’t save the nation, but we strongly believe every little bit helps. Whatever you can contribute, we truly appreciate.

Robyn and Evan met in a classroom at UCLA in the Public Affairs building. We went back to that very room to start their engagement shoot. It was funny to see how they became giddy and Robyn blushed a bit when they sat down in the seats where they first laid eyes on each other. We cruised through campus and they reminisced about school and dating. They had funny stories and were so sweet together. For a change of scenery we drove down Wilshire Blvd to the Urban Light instillation at LACMA. I loved the romantic setting and the dipping kiss between the lights. Their April wedding is going to be a beautiful celebration.
